Cuba Photographing Cuba has been my dream since I saw images of it as a child in National Geographic. The bright colors, turbulent history, and unchanged landscapes are among the many reasons I've drawn to it. Being the forbidden fruit for U.S. Citizens, made it even more intriguing.
Since travel restrictions have loosened for U.S. Citizens in the recent years, I jumped on the opportunity to see my childhood dream finally come to fruition. I wanted to visit before International chains of coffee shops and fast food begin blocking the beautiful, raw, living time capsule. I wanted to document the influx of tourism and step back in time.
Stay tuned for a photo book with additional images on the experiences of this trip.
